2 Minute Breakfast

We've all been there - snoozing one too many times, taking forever in deciding what to wear, running late for work or an appointment and not having enough time to eat a proper breakfast. As you've heard many times, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It's what sets you up for the day, gives you energy to kickstart your day on the right foot and fuels you until lunch. There's no reason for you not to eat breakfast. If you are rushed in the morning and only have 5 minutes to make breakfast, let me share with you my 2 minute breakfast (with 3 minutes to spare). Note: I encourage you to wake up 15 minutes earlier to truly enjoy your breakfast and practice mindful eating (no distractions) sitting down. "Proper digestion of your food requires you to be relaxed in a “rest and digest” state. Being in a stressed state of mind may cause digestive distress like bloating, abdominal pain or cramping, constipation, or diarrhea. It also forces you to set the intention to eat rather than eating mindlessly out of boredom." (Lauren Fowler - Mindful Meals: Sit Down To Eat)
