Weekly Round-Up

Hello beautiful and inspiring readers. Hope you are all doing fantastic! If your day isn't starting off on a good note, embrace all your feelings and let it go. Find a quiet space, focus on your breathing and find that voice within you who is quietly saying "everything is going to be alright".

This morning, before even getting out of bed (it's my bad habit I want to quit), I was scrolling through Instagram and found so many inspirational photos, quotes and comments. If you didn't already realized how fast time is flying, today is the first day of May. I honestly don't know where time has gone, I feel like it was just yesterday I started this blog. As I was scrolling through the photos, I came across this quote:

What appears to be the end may really be a new beginning.

Something within me shifted when I read this. It rings so true that I can't wait to see what's next. You might be going through a break up, a move, a struggle, a new and exciting adventure, which means saying goodbye to what you know and hello to something new. We all have to leave things behind and it might be scary/sad/exciting/terrifying, but those experiences only make us stronger and prepare us for what is next.

As the first day of May, I want you all to embrace the good, the bad and the ugly in your life and remember life throws us lessons along the way so we can strive to be our best and achieve success and happiness. It's not about the destination, it's about the journey. Sometimes it's hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but that's only because we need to change our perspective. When you feel like things are crumbling and you can't catch a break, take a moment and meditate. Focus on your breathing, acknowledge your feelings and the situation, let go of the heavy weight you've been carrying and feel the calm take over. I've spoken to many people who have started meditating and they found that they have a completely different perspective on things, they are more aware of their reactions to certain things and the practice of meditation helps them feel more calm and in control of their feelings.
