Recipe: Can't beet this smoothie

With the change of season, I'm looking forward to including more fall vegetables into my diet and testing out new flavour combinations. I tend to have the same spinach or kale smoothie every day and I'm ready to spice things up. Today I included a beet in my smoothie and it was delicious! Can't beet this smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 beet, sliced and diced
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup of raspberries
  • 1 cup of almond milk
  • 1 splash of coconut water
  • 1 tbsp of chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp of flaxseeds

Blend all ingredients and enjoy this vibrant smoothie!

Everyone should include beets into their diet if possible because it's in season (fall) and it has many health benefits!
