This past weekend I got to get away from the city chaos and relax by the Georgian Bay. The weekend wasn’t as warm and sunny as I hoped, but I still took a dip in the water, freezing water.

Did you know cold therapy, briefly or regularly exposing the body to cold water, can improve your circulation, relieve pain, feel more energetic and revitalize your health? 

The 3 day weekend consisted of delicious hamburgers, hot dogs, homemade cabbage rolls, treats, scary movies and family bonding. The great thing about this getaway was disconnecting from technology and recharging. You don’t really realize how much you need to get back to basics and free your hands and mind of technology. You think more clearly and you’re more creative. 

Here’s the single snapshot I took from this weekend. The first night was the only time we got to see the sunset and it was a beautiful one.
