When you eat in season, you will find yourself having the same fruit and vegetables until you've had enough - which will probably be at the end of the season. And that's the whole point. Have it until you can't have no more. Since the start of strawberry season, I would have strawberries for breakfast, lunch and dinner - strawberry smoothie, strawberries alone, strawberry cake, pasta and strawberry sauce (very odd combination right? But delicious), and strawberry pudding. My list goes on and on. Today, I topped a unsalted rice cake with goat cheese mozzarella, strawberries, basil and balsamic vinaigrette. It hit the spot!
